Come down
oh slanted ray of light
seep into the portal
cross the divide and take this fright
bitter bitter taste of morning
where all the joy is going
My words feel like wet rags
used again and again to hold the moon
she paved the path last and said just let go
the heavy slant of eye and fly
But you are so far away
I say to no one in particular
and I can't find the signs anymore
of love sans gold
all is falling falling into disrepair
and I have lost my hold
Can curled body find relief
or just one song like I believe
from the front row of memories room
sing me sweet then into tune
I am harmony unglued and left to scatter
seeking wings to fly is what's the matter
